Months in the making, From Every Corner is my largest and most ambitious work to date. I'm so proud to announce that this artwork will be showcased and auctioned in my debut partnership with Phillips, at their Modern & Contemporary Art auction in July. More than 57 hours were spent painting the four-square-metre canvas itself, becoming both a physical and creative endurance test. Built up with 16 litres of thick, grass-green paint, the surface was shaped through long sessions of pushing and pulling colour with an oversized brush, creating a sweeping, energetic field that feels almost alive with movement.
Across this ground, 48 of the world's greatest footballers from the past three decades emerge in fine detail, captured mid-action. Painted individually over several weeks, they keep the canvas in constant motion as though the match is still unfolding. Each player represents a nation competing at the 2026 World Cup, bringing together the tournament's most globally inclusive line-up and transforming the work into a reflection on connection - a space where different cultures and identities share the same field.
Scattered across the surface like a constellation of stars, the players feel both individual and connected, like points of reference across a shared sky. Footballers, much like stars, are followed across borders and unite people through a shared language of passion.
Ultimately, From Every Corner is a tribute to the game and its extraordinary ability to bring people together from every corner of the world.
