Celebrating the iconic ‘Icebergs’ pool in Bondi Beach, this artwork features fragments of two pools and the ocean, divided by two white lines that converge. Painted on Werner’s signature thick paint are tiny figures swimming, standing and simply enjoying the Australian sun. There is a complete sense of serenity captured in the calming palette of blues and peaceful figures. As far as Werner’s artworks go, this piece is unique in every way. Werner specifically wanted to keep the figures as small and minimal as possible on this rather large canvas.
