Select the original artwork you are interested in acquiring and submit your details through the registration form. All submissions are timestamped to the millisecond, and the first person to successfully submit after the drop time will be contacted regarding the opportunity to acquire that artwork.

With each original artwork being entirely unique, availability is limited to one collector per work. We recommend having your chosen artwork and details ready before the drop time.

All purchases of original artwork made through this website are subject to the execution of a separate written contract of sale between the artist and the purchaser, and these terms form part of and reflect the ownership and intellectual property provisions of that contract.

Ownership & Intellectual Property

When you purchase an artwork, the legal title of the physical piece transfers to you only after full payment is received. However, the Artist retains all intellectual property, copyright, and licensing rights. This means you are not permitted to reproduce, photograph for commercial purposes, or create derivative works from the art without the Artist's prior written consent. Additionally, your artwork will arrive with a unique Certificate of Authenticity, which must permanently accompany the piece, even during any permitted future resale.

Shipping, Insurance & Care

The Artist covers all costs associated with shipping, packaging, and handling, and provides delivery to the collector free of charge. Any import duties, taxes, customs charges, or other fees imposed by the destination country remain the responsibility of the collector. Once the artwork leaves the Artist’s possession, the collector is solely responsible for insuring the artwork against loss, theft, or damage. Once the artwork is in the collector’s care, it must be maintained, stored, and displayed in a manner consistent with professional conservation standards.

Resale & Transfer Restrictions

To protect the integrity of the Artist's market, you are strictly prohibited from selling, auctioning, lending, or transferring the artwork for a period of 24 months from the date of the agreement without absolute written consent from the Artist.

Once this 24-month period expires, if you wish to sell the artwork, you must first grant the Artist the right of first refusal. This requires you to submit a written offer to sell the piece back to the Artist at your intended sale price, and they will have 30 days to accept. If the Artist declines your offer, you are given a 3-month window to sell the artwork to a third party. This third-party sale cannot be for a price lower than what you offered the Artist, and the new buyer must formally agree in writing to abide by these exact Terms & Conditions.

Please be aware: Violating any of these resale and transfer terms will immediately void the transfer and result in severe penalties. This includes a fee equal to 100% of your resale profit, potential legal action, and a permanent ban from acquiring any future works by Werner Bronkhorst.

Exhibition & Governing Law

Should you ever wish to lend the artwork for a public exhibition, you may only do so after obtaining written permission from the Artist. Conversely, the Artist reserves the right to request a temporary loan of the artwork for significant museum or institutional exhibitions, though all shipping and insurance costs for such loans will be covered by the Artist or the organizing institution. Finally, this entire agreement is governed exclusively by the laws and courts of England and Wales.

Shipping Rates & Duties

ORIGINAL ARTWORKS

Shipping is completely free on all original artworks purchased via the website. Any applicable customs duties and taxes remain the responsibility of the collector.

Original artworks are shipped via DHL Express or specialist bespoke logistics companies, depending on the artwork and destination, to ensure the highest level of care throughout transit.

LIMITED EDITION PRINTS

Shipping rates for limited edition prints include applicable customs duties and taxes.

International orders are shipped via DHL Express. Orders within Australia and New Zealand may be shipped via DHL Express or Australia Post Express, where appropriate.

MERCHANDISE & TIME-LIMITED PRINTS

For most countries, customers can choose between two international shipping options at checkout:

DHL Express: Customs duties and taxes are included in the shipping rate.

Australia Post International: Customs duties and taxes are not included and remain the responsibility of the customer, with any applicable charges payable upon delivery.

Orders within Australia and New Zealand may be shipped via DHL Express or Australia Post Express, where appropriate.

GENERAL

You will receive a notification when your order has been shipped. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure personal details such as delivery address and contact details are accurate and up-to-date. If you need to edit your address details after placing an order, you can do so using the link provided in the order confirmation email or by reaching out to us at orders@wernerbronkhorst.com with your name and order number. Once your order has been dispatched, we cannot alter address details and you will be charged the standard applicable postage rate to resend if it is returned to sender.

SHIPPING ESTIMATES

For customers located in Australia or New Zealand, you should receive your artwork or print within 4-11 business days from date of dispatch.

For customers located in the Asia Pacific, North America and Western Europe, you will receive your artwork or print within 5-28 business days from date of dispatch.

For customers located in the rest of the world, you will receive your artwork or print within 5-30 business days from date of dispatch.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Please note that we do not ship to Ascension, Bovet Island, Indian Ocean Territory, French Southern Territories, Heard & Mcdonald Islands, Pitcairn, Saint Pierre & Miquelon, Tajikistan, Tristan Da Cunha, US Minor Outlying Islands (Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Atoll, Palmyra Atoll, Wake Island) and Western Sahara.

IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES

Depending on the items in your order and the destination country, your shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, including VAT. These charges are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Where duties and taxes are included in the selected shipping option, no additional payment will be required from the customer upon delivery.

If you do not respond to customs enquiries or arrange payment of applicable import duties and taxes, and your shipment is subsequently returned to the sender, you will be responsible for any costs incurred to resend the order.

If you choose to have the order returned instead, a refund will be processed once the order has been received by us. The original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund, along with any applicable costs incurred as a result of the return.

HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

When your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within a 2-3 weeks of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at orders@wernerbronkhorst.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Any attempts to purchase outside of the scheduled drop time, including but not limited to the use of bots, scripts, or other automated methods, will be canceled.

PRINTS:

To give more collectors the opportunity to acquire a piece, purchases will be limited to 3 prints per customer.

Please note that the Window Set counts as 1 print towards the limit.

While limited edition prints do not have the raised texture of the originals, we have carefully developed precise scanning and printing methods to preserve the detail and depth of the original works in these flat reproductions. Please note that cancellations cannot be made on the basis that the prints lack texture.

Once a print is dispatched, unfortunately no changes can be made.

Our customer service team endeavours to respond to enquiries at orders@wernerbronkhorst.com within 24-48 hours.

If your print arrives damaged, we are committed to making it right. Kindly email our team at orders@wernerbronkhorst.com with photos of the damage, and we will promptly send you a replacement at no additional cost.

MERCHANDISE:

All unworn, unused merchandise accompanied by the original purchase receipt can be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery, however, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Import taxes, customs duties, and VAT are not refundable and are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned to us in original condition.

Please use the original packaging included in your shipment to return any item(s). Once our team has approved the returned stock, your refund will be credited directly back to the original form of payment used. Your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days from when your return is received, most likely sooner.

If the return is a result of our error (for example, you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we will bear responsibility for the return shipping costs.

Werner Bronkhorst reserves the right to reject returns beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the original condition in which they were received. If this is the case, the package will be simply returned back to the customer and any shipping costs involved will not be covered by Werner Bronkhorst.

Please also note that Werner Bronkhorst intentionally manufacturers small quantities of merchandise to limit overproduction. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to repurchase an item after you have returned your original order as it may be sold out.
