THE GLOBAL PREMIERE OF MY EIGHTH COLLECTION

The CRACK collection was a year in the making - developed slowly and intentionally - allowing ideas to evolve and surfaces to build.

In January 2026, I made my Dubai exhibition debut with a four-room gallery presentation exploring texture, tension, and narrative through hyperreal detail, sculptural environments, and my most ambitious storytelling to date.

THE PILGRIMAGE

Seven panels, each 228.5 × 51 cm
Acrylic gel and acrylic on canvas

The Pilgrimage is an extraordinary seven-panel work, the largest created to date, commanding attention with its immense scale. It depicts a man and his family traversing endless dunes in rich reds and deep burgundies, with sandy strokes in the sky.

Despite its sweeping presence, the piece conveys intimacy and quiet reflection, capturing both a deeply personal journey and a universal passage. The solemn, immersive hues evoke profound emotion, making this work a testament to endurance, perseverance, and the human spirit.

ALL FOR LOVE

132 x 102 cm
Acrylic gel and acrylic on canvas

Inspired by the mesmerising surface of clay courts, this work explores rich colour and rough texture, created by mixing raw oxide pigments into thick paint. Two female tennis players emerge mid-match, caught in a moment of intensity and motion, dressed in bold, striking hues.

Titled 'All For Love', the piece nods to tennis scoring - where love means nothing - yet speaks to the dedication and devotion the game demands.

CARAVAN LIFE

180 x 120 cm
Acrylic gel and acrylic on canvas

Caravan Life follows six men and their camels as they traverse an endless series of sand dunes. The origins and destination of their journey remain unknown, yet their determination to cross the desert is unmistakable.

Despite the canvas borders, the composition evokes a sense of continuity, as if the dunes extend infinitely, with the caravan as the sole companion across the vast expanse. The saturated orange pigment intensifies the experience, creating a work that is at once mesmerising, powerful, and surprisingly calming - much like the desert itself.

MIRAGE

183 x 153 cm
Acrylic gel and acrylic on canvas

Mirage stands apart from earlier works through its scale and restraint. A single blue stroke is suspended within a vast, sandy surface, created by pushing bucketloads of paint across the canvas.

When viewed in person, the artwork envelops the viewer in the sensation of an endless desert. At its centre, a subtle illusion emerges - a pool of water and a woman enjoying the stillness of a hot afternoon sun, hovering between reality and imagination.
