'Going Through It' depicts three cyclists navigating a thin, dusty-brown trail set against a barren expanse of orange-brown terrain.

The composition builds on the earlier work 'Going Tandem', expanding the concept to a taller canvas and an additional rider, while shifting from lush green to a more arid palette.

Mountain biking is physically demanding and often dangerous, requiring total focus on the trail ahead. The discipline and intensity of the sport provide a way to temporarily escape life’s pressures, making it an apt metaphor for navigating emotional and physical challenges.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT: US$50,000

ORIGINALS PURCHASE POLICY

High-Value Transactions & Reservation Deposits

For any original artwork with a purchase price exceeding US$50,000, the following additional terms apply:

  • The Reservation Deposit: To secure the artwork, the Buyer must complete a non-refundable "Reservation Deposit" (as specified on the product page - US$50,000) via the website checkout. This deposit serves as a formal commitment to purchase and removes the artwork from public sale.

  • Balance of Payment: The remaining balance of the total purchase price must be paid via Bank Wire Transfer or ACH within forty-eight (48) hours of the deposit confirmation.

  • Forfeiture & Cancellation: If the artist does not receive a wire confirmation or proof of initiation within the 48-hour window, the artist reserves the right to cancel the transaction. In such an event, the Reservation Deposit will be retained as a liquidated damages fee to cover the loss of opportunity and administrative costs, and the artwork will be offered to the next collector in the priority queue.

  • Identity Verification: For transactions over US$50,000, the Buyer may be required to provide government-issued identification or "Know Your Customer" (KYC) documentation prior to the finalisation of the Bill of Sale to comply with international art market regulations.

All purchases of original artwork made through this website are subject to the execution of a separate written contract of sale between the artist and the purchaser, and these terms form part of and reflect the ownership and intellectual property provisions of that contract.

Ownership of any original artwork transfers to the buyer only upon full payment. Ownership is strictly limited to the physical artwork.

All intellectual property rights, including copyright, moral rights, reproduction, licensing, and derivative rights, remain exclusively with the artist. The buyer may not reproduce, distribute, publish, license, or commercially photograph the artwork, or create derivative works, without the artist’s prior written consent.

Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer once the artwork leaves the artist’s possession. Insurance following dispatch is the buyer’s responsibility.

The artwork may not be sold, transferred, consigned, auctioned, lent, or otherwise disposed of without the artist’s prior written consent. Any approved transferee must agree to be bound by these terms. Any unauthorized transfer is void.

Each artwork may be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, which must remain with the artwork in the event of approved resale or transfer.

The buyer agrees to properly care for and preserve the artwork in accordance with professional conservation standards.

Any breach of this section constitutes a material breach of these Terms & Conditions. The artist reserves all legal and equitable remedies.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Rates & Duties

International orders are shipped via DHL Express, while orders within Australia and New Zealand are sent with Auspost Express. Original artworks are exclusively shipped with DHL Express to ensure the highest level of care. Time-limited and open edition prints may be shipped via local couriers.

Shipping rates for limited edition prints include customs and duties, whereas any import taxes or duties for time-limited and open edition prints are the responsibility of the buyer.

For original artworks, Werner Bronkhorst covers all shipping costs, including import taxes and duties.

General 

You will receive a notification when your order has been shipped. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure personal details such as delivery address and contact details are accurate and up-to-date. If you need to edit your address details after placing an order, you can do so using the link provided in the order confirmation email or by reaching out to us at orders@wernerbronkhorst.com with your name and order number. Once your order has been dispatched, we cannot alter address details and you will be charged the standard applicable postage rate to resend if it is returned to sender.

Shipping Estimates

For customers located in Australia or New Zealand, you should receive your artwork or print within 4-11 business days from date of pickup. 

For customers located in the Asia Pacific, North America and Western Europe, you will receive your artwork or print within 5-28 business days from date of pickup. 

For customers located in the rest of the world, you will receive your artwork or print within 12-30 business days from date of pickup.

Important Information for International Customers

Please note that we do not ship to Ascension, Bovet Island, Indian Ocean Territory, French Southern Territories, Heard & Mcdonald Islands, Pitcairn, Saint Pierre & Miquelon, Tajikistan, Tristan Da Cunha, US Minor Outlying Islands (Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Atoll, Palmyra Atoll, Wake Island) and Western Sahara.

Your order may also be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Werner Bronkhorst is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer, unless stated otherwise. If you neglect to address customs inquiries regarding import duties and taxes relevant to your shipment, resulting in the package being returned to the sender, the customer assumes responsibility for covering the associated shipping charges to resend it. In the event that you choose to return your order, a refund will be processed, however, you will be required to pay for the initial shipment costs.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within a month of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at orders@wernerbronkhorst.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

PURCHASE POLICY

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Any attempts to purchase outside of the scheduled drop time, including but not limited to the use of bots, scripts, or other automated methods, will be canceled.

PRINTS:

While limited edition prints do not have the raised texture of the originals, we have carefully developed precise scanning and printing methods to preserve the detail and depth of the original works in these flat reproductions. Please note that cancellations cannot be made on the basis that the prints lack texture.

Once a print is dispatched, unfortunately no changes can be made.

Our customer service team endeavours to respond to enquiries at  orders@wernerbronkhorst.com within 24-48 hours.

If your print arrives damaged, we are committed to making it right. Kindly email our team at orders@wernerbronkhorst.com with photos of the damage, and we will promptly send you a replacement at no additional cost.

MERCHANDISE:

All unworn, unused merchandise accompanied by the original purchase receipt can be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery, however, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Import taxes, customs duties, and VAT are not refundable and are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned to us in original condition.

Please use the original packaging included in your shipment to return any item(s). Once our team has approved the returned stock, your refund will be credited directly back to the original form of payment used. Your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days from when your return is received, most likely sooner.

If the return is a result of our error (for example, you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we will bear responsibility for the return shipping costs.

Werner Bronkhorst reserves the right to reject returns beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the original condition in which they were received. If this is the case, the package will be simply returned back to the customer and any shipping costs involved will not be covered by Werner Bronkhorst.

Please also note that Werner Bronkhorst intentionally manufacturers small quantities of merchandise to limit overproduction. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to repurchase an item after you have returned your original order as it may be sold out.
